The founder of Fontana Travel, Mark Kasumovic, spent most of his life in England after fleeing from Croatia, his mother land, during the stressful time of the "struggle for independence" in 1991. After living in England and Ireland for ten years his ambition in life lay before him: To return to his homeland and his family and begin enlightening anyone prepared to appreciate the immense beauty of Croatia. Fontana Travel was established in 2002 with the two main aims of a. returning Croatia to the exclusive holiday destination it effortlessly once was, and b. providing a smooth, seamless holiday experience for each traveller from the moment they arrive in Croatia to the moment they leave.
